Baby Matinees

The Capitol Theatre features a baby-friendly movie every Monday afternoon! Please check our schedule below to see what feature has been selected for caregivers and their infants.

A Baby-Friendly Matinee is not a movie for babies – it’s for the caregivers out there who want to see a movie and bring their baby with them without having to worry about the baby making noise, or the movie damaging their child’s hearing. We keep the lights up at mid-level and the volume down a little lower so that patrons can attend to their kids and still see a first-run movie. When possible, we show the open caption version of the film. While patrons without infants are certainly welcome to attend, they should know that the babies are free to be babies during the show!

Tickets are available in person at the box office on the day of only.

You are welcome to bring a stroller, however it must be left in the lobby during the film. We do not allow strollers in the theatre itself for your safety.
